Hello there! My name is Smokey and I'm a rather handsome young lad, even if I say so myself! I have spent the last few weeks in foster care as I was finding the shelter environment quite overwhelming. I took some time to settle in the home but I slowly found my confidence and realised spending time with people can be quite nice! I enjoy string toy play as it allows me to interact with humans from a distance and become used to their presence in a fun, no pressure kind of way. As I became more comfortable in foster care, I also worked out that pats and leg rubs are quite enjoyable too. I now come out when my carers enter the room to say hi in my cute squeaky voice. I am also becoming fond of the resident cat and have attempted some play time with him. If you have another cat in the home, that could be quite good!
