Titilayo is a bright, energetic, curious and most of all an affectionate snuggle bum who loves to be around her humans. Whether it’s to be entertained by them; or entertain for them….there really never is a dull moment with Titilayo around.

Whilst in foster care Titilayo has been living with a teen and 7 year old who give her loads of attention, so it didn’t take long for her to master the “sit” command, especially at meal time.

She’s working on; and making great progress with the “wait” command which is used upon entering the home and when the side access gate to the yard is in use.
Titilayo has been guided by two highly experienced (ageing and getting grumpy) resident mentor dogs which have been great role models. This made crate training a breeze whereby she happily sleeps inside, in a crate, all night without a peep.
Like all pups, mastering grown dog behaviours takes time. So Titilayo is not yet toilet trained.

She excites easily and can get a bit jumpy for the first 15 minutes when she hasn’t seen you for an hour or so. To Titilayo, an hour is like half a day where she feels she has a build- up of love and licks to give you.

Titilayo likes to keep busy with either the company of another dog or with a range of toys that stimulate her bright brain. And when she’s not playing, she likes to bake in the sun or curl up on top of you for a cuddle.

We highly recommend puppy school for Titilayo so she can continue building her skills. However, our family have discussed and believe she would do exceptionally well in agility and/or sniffer training as we witnessed her follow the scent path of a cheeky field mouse that had entered our yard from neighbouring bushland weeks before she arrived.

It has been delightful fostering Titilayo over the past couple of weeks. She’s stolen a piece of our hearts.
