Hi, I’m Hairy McLary, and I’m still very early in my journey after being rescued from the airport.

Nature
Initially, I was very scared, as I had never had human contact. But over the past few months, I’ve really enjoyed becoming a house cat and have started to enjoy gentle and short affection from my foster humans.

I’m a lovely boy who is still finding my confidence, but I’m very keen to be part of a family and continue developing at my own pace.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I enjoy watching my foster carer’s grandson, but I stay a respectful distance away as toddlers can be a bit unpredictable. Older children would be fine.

I thrive on the company of other cats, so I must be homed with another cat or go to a home that already has cats. I love and get along with cats of any age or personality type.

I’m very interested in my foster home’s dog, so a cat-savvy pooch would be fine for me.

Likes / Dislikes
I love my cat tree or sitting on a chair under the kitchen table. I also love food, any toys, gentle and short strokes, and being with my kitty friends.

I don’t like chaotic homes or the vacuum.

My PURR-fect home could have any dynamic, as long as my humans understand that I’m a work in progress but am super keen to be part of the family. I must be homed with another kitty. I’m a very sweet boy who just wants to be given the chance to develop into a cuddly family member.
