Her Story & Personality:
Saved from a Queensland pound where time was running out, Carlita (or Lita) is a tiny little soul - we suspect she might be a dwarf kitty - who just needed someone to give her a chance. Since coming into foster care, she’s flourished and is busy making up for lost time!
Carlita is a quiet, gentle sweetheart who is growing in confidence every single day. She prefers having her safe space to relax in - often curled up in her favourite cat tree - but the moment you walk through the door, she welcomes you in with tiny, adorable meows for affection.
She might be small, but her personality is packed with sweet quirks:
The Loudest Engine in Town: She has an unbelievably loud purr and loves getting chin scratches.
The Ultimate Biscuit Maker: When she’s happy, the biscuit factory is open 24/7 - she’ll even make biscuits right on the hard floor!
A Cozy Dreamer: She snores softly when she sleeps and loves spending her afternoons playing with her favourite toys.
Foodie at Heart: She absolutely adores her wet food, creamy squeeze treats, and crunchy bites.
The Ideal Home:
Carlita is still coming out of her shell, so she needs a patient, loving home willing to give her the time she needs to fully bloom into the total lover girl she’s destined to be.
Cats: She doesn't mind other felines and would likely do well with a calm cat companion.
Dogs: Indifferent.
Kids: Okay with calm, gentle older children who respect her space while she settles.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept strictly indoors or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire: We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message to help us understand your home environment and match you with the right feline companion.
Video Tour: We require a video tour of your home to inspect key safety features, including secure screens on windows, doors, and balconies, and to see where your new kitty will settle in!
Meet & Greet: Once your application is approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home: If your application is approved and the cat has completed their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (adoption and admin fees are payable at this time).
Settling-In Period & Communication: Every adoption includes a 14-day settling-in period. We stay in touch during this time (preferably via WhatsApp) to support your cat's transition into your home.
Adoption Fees & Registration
Kittens: $350
Cats (1–3 Years): $275
Cats (3+ Years): $200
All adoptions carry a mandatory lifetime registration/admin fee of $62 on top of the adoption price to ensure your cat is officially registered in accordance with local council requirements.
