Gracie and Nikita are a truly special bonded pair who have come such a long way since arriving in foster care.

Gracie, in particular, was very fearful while in the shelter environment and relied heavily on Nikita for comfort and support. Since being together in foster, both girls have blossomed, growing more confident and relaxed with each passing day.

They may have been shy when they first arrived, especially Gracie, but once they learned to trust their foster parents, their beautiful personalities shone through. They are incredibly affectionate, loyal companions who adore being with their people and love feeling included in everyday family life.

These two happily slept on their foster parents' bed every night and spent their days following them from room to room. They absolutely love going for walks together and enjoy exploring the world side by side.

Food and treats are always a highlight of their day, but nothing compares to their absolute favourite, roast chicken! It is the quickest way to win their hearts.

While Gracie has made remarkable progress, she can still be worried by loud noises or sudden movements. Thankfully, she takes great comfort from having Nikita by her side and is able to recover well with her friend's reassurance. Her new family will need to be patient, understanding, and respectful as she settles into her new home and continues building her confidence at her own pace.
