About Pineapple
Meet Pineapple!
This 6 year old Japanese Spitz mix is a whole lot of love and affection wrapped up in a tiny, fluffy package. After coming to the shelter as a stray, this incredibly sweet girl is ready to find a loving forever home.
Pineapple is very people-orientated, loves nothing more than being around her humans. If you're looking for a loyal little companion who wants to be by your side, Pineapple could be the perfect match.
Pineapple will need to go to a home with secondary school aged children or older, where everyone can give her the space and understanding she needs to settle in and feel comfortable. She may also be able to go home with another dog, provided they're a good match. A meet and greet at the shelter will help us make sure any resident dog is the right fit for this lovely girl.
Medically, there are a few things to be aware of with Pineapple. She has mild dental disease, but has not needed any surgical intervention. She would benefit from eating good quality dry food, dental treats, and annual check ups at the vet to make sure her teeth stay as healthy as possible. She's also had a surgery to remove her uterus which was infected, but she is recovering well. Additionally, she has an enlarged adrenal gland. It doesn't currently require any intervention, but a follow-up scan is reccomended in 6 months.
If you think Pineapple could be the perfect match for your home, come and meet her at our North Melbourne location during our opening hours, no appointment needed!
*Please note: if you have a dog or any household members under 18 they will need to be present for a meet and greet at the shelter*
