About Linda
Linda is a beautiful nine year old female German Shepherd who is now looking for a new home through no fault of her own.
Linda’s owner has sadly had to return overseas to care for her mother, who is unwell. As she does not know when they will be able to return to Australia, she has made the very difficult decision to find Linda a new family where she can be settled and loved for the years ahead.
At nine years old, Linda is entering her senior years and deserves a home where she can enjoy a quieter, more relaxed life with people who will cherish her and make her part of the family.
Linda is a lovely girl who would benefit from someone who understands German Shepherds and appreciates the wonderful companionship an older Shepherd can provide. She is looking for a home where she will be included in family life, receive plenty of love and attention, and have a safe and comfortable place to call her own.
Linda has already had an owner who loved her, and we want to make sure her next home is a permanent one. She has so much love to give and deserves to spend her senior years surrounded by people who will adore her.
We always recommend to continue training when you take your dog home. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you both, it doesn’t have to take long and is a great way for you to bond with your new dog.
Linda is currently available for adoption in NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria, If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet her. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
