Once Scooby gets to know you he loves to be kept close by and keep you company.
Scooby is eager to please and will be your loyal, affectionate shadow, following you from room to room.
It doesn’t take long for him to gain his confidence and you can see his cheeky personality shine through.
🏥 Scooby, has tested Heartworm Postive - this is a highly treatable condition, but it takes time.
Scooby needs to undergo treatment for 91 days (consisting of a course of 3 injections over this time.
WTS will cover all costs, but we would LOVE to see him settling in a loving home, with his forever people while he goes through this treatment. Our team will be there to support every step of the way 🩵
🐾 He loves his daily walks, endless belly rubs and curling up in the sun.
Scooby is highly food motivated which makes training a snap. He is learning to walk politely on a leash and to stay calm during meals and with some guidance he’s making great strides.
🪴 At the end of a busy day of exploring the garden, chewing his chew toys and helping with the house chores, Scooby is happy to curl up next to you on the couch for movie night.

🐥 While under the care of Willow Tree Sanctuary, our dogs are desexed (at the right age) microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested (6 months+), treated monthly for parasites and have any other necessary vet treatment required.
Note: We recommend all pups and their adopters attend puppy and obedience training to give them the opportunity to become the best versions of themselves 🙌

Adoption details
Steps to finding you forever friend:
1. Complete adoption application via our website for be reviewed for suitability.
2. If approved, contact will be made to arrange for a meet and greet.
3. Invoice and adoption email to applicant.
4. Meet & greet takes place.
5. If successful, vet history & waiver document, and contract is sent to applicant.
6. Applicant is required to view the Adoption Contract online and sign.
7. Applicant is required to pay the full adoption fee.
8. Once steps 1-7 have been completed, the animal can commence trial.
9. After trial is complete, confirmation email and microchip form will be sent to the applicant.
