About Marlie
Introducing Marlie, a sweet and gentle Dachshund who, despite his tiny frame, has a heart full of potential love to give. At approximately one year old and weighing just 4 kg, Marlie is on a journey of blossoming from timid beginnings into a devoted companion. His trusting nature is like a tender shoot, ready to grow in the nurturing care of a compassionate and loving environment.
Marlie craves warmth and comfort, eagerly snuggling up for a cuddle with those he feels secure around. He has shown adaptability and friendliness with dogs of similar size, which bodes well for a multi-pet household. Although he hasn't been tested with cats, his naturally gentle disposition suggests he could learn to coexist in harmony. We are unsure if Marlie is toilet trained.
Life with Marlie promises moments of serene companionship and quiet joy as you witness his gradual unfolding into trust. With patience, compassion, and consistent love, Marlie will thrive and reward you with loyalty and affection. Whether you live in a cozy apartment or a spacious home, Marlie’s presence will undoubtedly fill your life with a newfound warmth and tender devotion.
Medical notes
Marlie passed his medical and is ready for his new home.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
