About Duke
Meet Duke 🐾
Duke is a handsome Airedale Cross with a heart as big as his smile. This sweet-natured boy is looking for a loving family who can keep up with his playful spirit and zest for life.
Duke loves nothing more than getting outside for a run, stretching his legs, and enjoying the great outdoors. Whether it's a walk around the neighbourhood, a trip to the park, or an adventure with his favourite people, Duke is always ready to join in the fun.
When playtime rolls around, fetch is one of Duke's favourite games. He'll happily chase after a ball and bring it back for another throw, making him the perfect companion for an active family who enjoys spending time together.
As much as he loves to play, Duke is also a gentle and affectionate boy who enjoys being part of the family. He thrives on companionship and will reward his new home with plenty of loyalty, love, and tail wags.
If you're looking for a friendly, active, and devoted companion to share your adventures, Duke could be the perfect addition to your family.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
