About Elsa
This is Elsa and she is a very wild fancy cat and I could be wrong, but I doubt she has ever lived with a human before coming into care.
She has being here a few months and gone from pretending she doesn't exist in the corner, to running up the wall and zipping back and fourth across the enclosure. In recent days she's even started growling at me for dinner time and thats actually a good thing as that means she's starting to move onto the next stage and become a little confident and have anticipation about her dinner rather then being completely shut down.
From reading this you can probably see Elsa isn't in the right set up for taming. She needs to be housed in a large dog crate or very small room she can control and you can still reach her for proper socializing. She needs someone to go sit with her multiple times a day and only feed her when they are sitting with her and touching her in some way. This gets the majority of wild cats super friendly in just a few weeks.
I'm just popping her in the available album in case there's someone very skilled and experienced ready to take on the job, but I'm not expecting much in the way of adoption until she's more tame.
Being a scardie she has the lowest possible adoption fee.
She will need an indoor only home.
She comes desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, parasite treated and FIV tested.
Transport is available around QLD.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
All our cats and kittens come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated. Our adult cats and high risk kittens are tested for FIV/FELV.
Kittens come home to you around 12 to 13 weeks after being desexed if they are of appropriate weight and health at that time.
All our cats require indoor only homes for their safety and to protect the wildlife. An outdoor enclosure can be a safe way for your cat to experience the outdoors.
We have a number of transport services that can bring your new baby to you around QLD so distance is not an issue.
We do our best to make sure every cat gets the best home they can, but we have a life time returns policy for our adopted babies should they ever find themselves in trouble.
