About Pedro - 3 Year Old Chihuahua
Meet Pedro — 2.4 kg of pure happiness
Pedro is a three-year-old Chihuahua with a huge personality packed into one very tiny body. This little pocket rocket is playful, energetic and full of joy. His tail rarely stops wagging, and he loves meeting both people and other dogs.
He approaches life with confidence and enthusiasm and is looking for someone who will keep him physically active, mentally stimulated and involved in everyday life. He may be tiny, but he is not looking for a life spent entirely on the couch!
Pedro has recently undergone surgery to remove an eye, but it certainly hasn’t slowed him down. His toilet training is work in progress, but he does great with it. He has shown some separation anxiety, so his ideal adopter will be home more often than not and willing to help him feel safe and secure. He would prefer a small companion dog in his new home—bonus points if that dog is playful and would enjoy having Pedro as a little buddy.
As Pedro weighs just 2.4 kg he is extremely tiny and for his safety, he needs a home without children under 12.
To keep Pedro healthy and avoid placing unnecessary weight on his little joints, his adopter must be committed to continuing his nutritious fresh-food diet and maintaining a healthy weight.
He is a strictly inside dog only
Pedro’s ideal home will offer:
• People who are home more often than not
• Preferably a small, friendly companion dog—ideally one who enjoys playing
• No children under 12, as Pedro is extremely tiny
• Plenty of physical activity, play and mental enrichment
• An ongoing healthy fresh-food diet
• Lots of love, companionship and involvement in family life
Pedro may weigh only 2.4 kg, but he brings an enormous amount of happiness wherever he goes. He is looking for someone who will adore his larger-than-life personality and give this very special little dog the wonderful life he deserves.
He is in care in Glenning Valley (Central Coast) NSW. His adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
