About Whiskey

Say hello to Whiskey - an all-powerful pouncer with the biggest, sweetest eyes and a cheeky streak a mile wide!
The perfect combination of chaos and cuddles, Whiskey lives for the kind of crazy adventures that keep you up at night (usually because he’s up to something), just as much as he enjoys the blissful simplicity of stretching out across the bed for a well-earned snooze.
His heart can easily be won with a creamy treat, a few nice pats behind the ears and, of course, plenty of good food! In return, he may generously reward you with a little invasion of your personal space later in the day - because apparently, boundaries are optional when you’re Whiskey.
When you can’t find him, you’ll usually discover him tucked away in the darkest corner of the house or soaking up the sunshine while enjoying a peaceful nap. But if you can hear him and can’t see him - good luck! There’s a very high chance he’s off plotting his next adventure...
Whiskey is one very special boy with a huge personality, a wonderful silly side and a whole lot of love to give. He’s the kind of companion who'll keep you laughing, keep you guessing and, most importantly, make your home feel complete!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Whiskey is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I don't need anything out of the ordinary, but my dream home will have at least one other friendly cat to play and bond with!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I go from zero to 100 in a flash! Don't worry if you can't keep up with me, I'm great at roping the other household cats into my games and if they're not interested I can entertain myself just fine :) But I adore a good snooze to recharge, too!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: An adults-only home will be my best match, but if you're able to help me adjust to family life in a calm, patient way we could probably make it work.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: A big yes to other cats of any age, as long as they can put up with my kittenish antics!
I haven't met any dogs at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
