Meet Churros 🐾

Churros is a shy little floofball with a very big purr — she’s just waiting for the right person to help her discover her bravery.

With early sightings as rare as a Sasquatch, Churros will almost certainly secret herself into the first safe space she finds. But if you are patient and still enough, she will slowly find her way to your outstretched hand, and in proof we all contain multitudes, will immediately turn in a boneless purr machine. Until you move, at which point she'll hide again and the delicate dance can resume.

But you'll get there, if only because this kitty cat has an ermine-soft coat that would make Cruella deVille jealous and Disney executives plan at a reboot. You WILL find yourself lying on the floor with your arm awkwardly stretched under a bed, behind a couch or deep into a wardrobe whilst Churros rumbles away happily (and maybe drools a little. She really loves pats). And soon enough she'll be sitting on your lap where it's easier for both of you.

She’s also beginning to discover the joys of playtime with other kittens and could potentially enjoy the company of a calm, older cat. A more territorial feline, however, may be a little too much for her gentle nature.

Churros isn’t particularly food motivated either, so if you’re looking for a kitty who won’t stage a midnight protest because dinner is 30 seconds late, she might be your girl!

What Churros needs most is a calm forever home, a little patience and lots of love — pats are an acceptable initial substitute. Give her time, and this timid little floof has all the makings of a wonderful, affectionate companion. ❤️
