🐾 MEET SKIPPER — A HANDSOME 4-YEAR-OLD SIBERIAN HUSKY 🐾

Skipper is one beautiful soul who is ready to find the loving family he truly deserves. ❤️

This gorgeous boy is a happy, affectionate and well-behaved Husky who is full of life and loves being around people. He absolutely adores attention and will happily soak up all the love you have to give. 🥰

Skipper is not a barker and gets along well with other dogs. He loves running around on the grass in the backyard and enjoys going for walks, although he is still learning his leash manners and needs a little more work on not pulling.

He is an intelligent and loyal boy who is eager to please. And if there is one thing Skipper REALLY loves… it’s food! 😂 He is not a fussy eater at all and would happily help himself to everyone else’s dinner too, so separate feeding is recommended.

The lovely thing about Skipper is that he isn’t destructive. He doesn’t dig or destroy things — he is simply a beautiful, well-mannered boy who wants to be part of a family.

Sadly, Skipper hasn’t always had the life he deserved. He spent far too much time outside without the love, attention and care that every dog should receive. 💔

Now, we want his next chapter to be completely different.

Skipper deserves a family who will welcome him inside, include him as a true family member, love him, spend time with him and treasure him for the beautiful soul he is. ❤️

🏡 Skipper’s ideal home:
• A home with a doggy door
• A large, secure grassy backyard where he can run and enjoy himself
• The freedom to come inside and outside as he pleases
• A family who will give him plenty of love, attention and companionship
• Someone committed to continuing his leash training
• Regular brushing to keep his beautiful coat healthy
• Professional grooming approximately every 5–6 weeks

Skipper has so much love to give, and we truly hope there is someone out there who will see what a special boy he is.

He doesn’t need a perfect home.
He just needs a loving home where he is wanted, valued and treated as family. ❤️

***Please also provide some photos of your home, including the areas where Skipper will spend his time and the backyard/outdoor area.

4. Do you currently have any other animals living with you?
If so, please provide details about each animal, including their species, age, breed and personality, and how they generally interact with other animals.

5. Do you have previous experience with Skipper’s breed? If not, have you done thorough research into the breed, including its temperament, exercise needs, grooming, training and potential health requirements?

6. Are you familiar with the long-term responsibilities of dog ownership, including training, socialisation, exercise and ongoing care? Are you willing to give Skipper the time, patience and support he needs to settle into his new home?

7. How many hours will Skipper be left alone on a typical day? Who will be responsible for caring for him during your working hours, absences, holidays or other periods when you are unable to be with him?

8. Are you financially and practically prepared to provide Skipper with quality veterinary care, preventative healthcare, grooming and nutritious food throughout her lifetime?

9. Will Skipper be considered a member of your family and primarily live indoors, with appropriate access to a secure backyard/outdoor area? Please describe where Skipper will sleep and how he will be accommodated overnight.

10. If your circumstances change in the future and you are no longer able to care for Skipper, do you agree to contact PFPRI and seek our assistance before making any arrangements to surrender, rehome him?
