Meet Eva! 💕 This sweet girl is a lovely companion with an easy, gentle manner around the home. She is always delighted to see her people return and is settling beautifully into life as a pet. She has been very easy to have around the house, with her foster family finding her respectful of possessions and the home environment.
Eva is doing wonderfully with her daily routine. She toilets well on lead, can comfortably manage a full workday and sleeps through the night. She has also travelled well in the car, managed stairs and walks nicely on lead, and is responding well to her carer. She has been happy spending the day inside or outside with her foster sister.
She would suit either a house or apartment, with some time to adjust to apartment living. Eva is already becoming comfortable with suburban sounds and hasn't been particularly bothered by them so far. As a confident and resilient girl, she should adapt well to new experiences and situations.
Eva gets along beautifully with her foster sister and is happy sharing her home with another Greyhound. She would also be quite happy as an only dog, making her a lovely option for a range of homes. Her initial interactions with other dogs have been positive, although she hasn't yet had extensive experience with different breeds or smaller dogs.
Eva hasn't had extensive experience with small children yet. As she can become a little clumsy when excited and may not always realise her size, older children may be the more comfortable fit.
Most of all, Eva is just a genuinely lovely girl. She is sweet, affectionate and has a wonderfully easy manner in the home. She has all the qualities of a beautiful companion and is enjoying discovering just how good life as a much-loved pet can be. With a steady routine and continued positive experiences, Eva is sure to keep blossoming into the confident, happy girl she is becoming. 💗

Adoption details
The adoption fee is $395 and includes desexing, C5 vaccination, muzzle and lifetime registration in NSW.
Once we found a potential match, the following will happen:
- Phone chat with one of the HBH coordinators
- Phone chat with the foster carer
- Meet and Greet with the foster carer and the dog
- Setting up your personal support group through FB messenger or Whatsapp with Foster Carer and HBH coordinators
- House visit (virtual or in person)
- Paperwork and Adoption fee to be returned to HBH
- Trial start (2 weeks)
- Final adoption!
