💔 STEVIE — THE LITTLE ONE WHO WAS LEFT BEHIND 💔
Two and a half months ago, I rescued Stevie’s family from a property that was essentially a junkyard — three adult cats and four kittens. I thought everyone was safe… until I returned the next day and saw one tiny kitten still there.
It was Stevie. 💔
He had watched his family being trapped and was absolutely terrified. I tried desperately to rescue him, but eventually I stopped using traps and simply started feeding him and earning his trust.
For almost two months, I waited.
When I finally got him to safety, my heart broke. He was filthy and emaciated. Being the smallest, the other cats would push him away whenever he tried to eat. Even when I stayed there to protect him, he was too scared and would run. ❤️
Somehow this little boy never gave up.
The moment I brought him home and gave him a safe place to decompress, he started purring. Now Stevie rolls onto his back for belly rubs, loves being carried, adores people and happily lives alongside other cats. He is one of the sweetest little souls I have ever rescued. 🥹❤️
Stevie is around 5 months old and is fully vetted, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated.
He was once the little kitten who was left behind.
Now all he needs is someone who will never leave him behind again. 🏡❤️🐾
📍Location: Strathfield and Surrounding Areas. Will travel up to an hour radius for the right home.🏡 ❤️🐾

Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
