About Brook
Brook
Brook is the last cat we got from Eidsvold farm and he was so trap smart that we had to use a drop trap and got him on the last day. Yay! one more day and he would of being shot so I'm so glad we got him.
Brook is not very appreciative however as he doesn't know he was about to be killed and would much rather be wild and free eating all the wildlife like his family has done for the last 30 years at that farm. No more of that now.
Since intake a few months ago his settled down a bit and no longer trys to run through the wall if people look at him, but his still miles behind his younger cousins in progress and there's a long way to go. Lucky for Brook his got the rest of his life to work on his confidence and learn to trust people.
He is significantly less food motivated then his cousins, but you can still lure him out of hiding place with a spoon full of wetfood.
I'm not expecting much in the way of adoption and this profile will be something to update over time as he grows more trusting, but might as well pop him in the available album.
If someone could take him home and set him up in a large 42 or 48 inch crate and dedicate a few sessions a day to hand feeding him while making physical contact in some way until he begins to associate touch with food and enjoy it he will learn so quickly and grow into an annoyingly smoochy, loyal, affectionate cat. It's a very rewarding experience.
Brook is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, parasite treated and FIV/FELV tested to indoor homes.
Transport can be arranged around Qld.

Adoption details
All our cats and kittens come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated. Our adult cats and high risk kittens are tested for FIV/FELV.
Kittens come home to you around 12 to 13 weeks after being desexed if they are of appropriate weight and health at that time.
All our cats require indoor only homes for their safety and to protect the wildlife. An outdoor enclosure can be a safe way for your cat to experience the outdoors.
We have a number of transport services that can bring your new baby to you around QLD so distance is not an issue.
We do our best to make sure every cat gets the best home they can, but we have a life time returns policy for our adopted babies should they ever find themselves in trouble.
