About Chex
Meet Chex
Chex is a sweet boy with a gentle soul who just needs a little time to feel safe and comfortable. He can be nervous when meeting new people, but once he warms up, his lovely personality begins to shine.
Chex may also turn out to be quite the chatty companion once he gets to know you! He's looking for a patient, understanding home where he can settle in at his own pace and build confidence with plenty of kindness and reassurance.
An adult home would suit Chex best, although he may be happy living with gentle, cat-savvy teenagers who understand that earning a cat's trust takes time.
If you're looking for a sweet boy who will reward your patience with a special bond, Chex could be your perfect match.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
