Hey friends, my name is Jim! I’m a very fluffy tabby boy with a big, gorgeous coat and an attitude to match. Yes, I'm part of the famous Office litter!

My siblings and I were rescued by SCA after being listed for free online, feeling very scared, skinny, and covered in fleas. I was the most terrified of the bunch and took the longest to trust. But with patience and time, I’ve learned that humans actually make pretty good assistants.

I live with a young family with a gentle 9-year-old child. Because I can still be a bit timid, I do best when my humans let me make the first move. Once I know you're safe, I love to communicate with tiny, sweet chirps. I’ll stare at you with big, wide eyes—sometimes giving you a look of mild disapproval, just like my TV namesake!—until you offer your hand. Once invited, I’ll happily rub against you for back pats and much-loved butt scritches. My 9-year-old foster friend has learned the secret to my heart, too! When I'm done soaking up love, I'll launch into playful wrestling matches with my siblings or find a quiet spot for a snooze.

I don't mind the small resident dog and absolutely adore resident cat, Jimmy, greeting him with a high-held tail and happy chirps. Because I can still be timid, a patient, quiet home with a confident feline friend to keep me feeling safe would be perfect.

I’m a champion litterbox user with perfect manners, and I like to take my time politely working my way through my food.
