About Missy
Missy is a sweet and gentle 10-year-old Shetland Sheepdog looking for a loving forever home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by people who will cherish her. She is a lovely older girl who would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loyal and affectionate dog.
As a senior, Missy will benefit from a calm and comfortable home where she can settle in at her own pace and receive plenty of love, patience, and reassurance. She would suit a family who understands the needs of an older dog and can provide her with a predictable routine, gentle exercise, and lots of cosy time together.
Missy has been diagnosed with age-related health concerns that will require ongoing monitoring and management by a veterinarian. Her new family will need to be committed to regular veterinary care and keeping a close eye on her health as she continues to age. Missy will also require regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. She can be nervous when being groomed and will need a patient and understanding family who can help build her confidence through gentle, positive experiences and take things at her own pace.
With the right home, Missy has so much love and companionship to offer. She is looking for a family who will give her the patience, comfort, veterinary care, and affection she deserves and, most importantly, a safe and loving place to call home for the rest of her days.
