Meet Fairy Bread, a spectacular five year old American Bulldog whose personality is just as delightful as his name!

Weighing in at a whopping 49kg, this lovable giant came to us as a stray, and while no one came forward for him, he is more than ready to find a devoted forever family. Fairy Bread is a classic, oversized boofhead who is incredibly food motivated. He already knows how to sit and will happily show off his skills in exchange for a tasty reward.

While he might look like a big, brave boy, Fairy Bread actually needs a gentle, patient approach to help build his confidence with being handled. He is still getting the hang of walking on a lead and has a habit of "putting on the brakes" when he feels unsure or simply doesn't want to go somewhere. His future owners will need to use his love of treats to positively reinforce his leash manners and help him feel secure. Once he has finished his daily exercise, expect this boy to transform into the ultimate couch potato, just make sure you have a very large couch, because he is a very big potato!

Due to his sheer size and strength, Fairy Bread must go to an adults only or 16+ household. He could potentially share his new home with a canine sibling, provided they are a good match and have a successful meet and greet here at the shelter.
