gorgeous man bandits owner has passed away and bandit found himself at the pound, pretty confused and anxious. Now bandit is safely settled in loving foster care, he is starting to come around again :)
here is some of what bandits carer has to say. . . . . Bandit is a beautiful natured, loving, playful energetic boy. He enjoys a walk, and goes well on the lead. He enjoys going to the dog park, and playing and meeting other dogs. He is very well behaved and obedient in the dog park, listens to when he is called and lets you know when he is ready to go (he will come up to you and follow you around looking up at you with his beautiful big brown eyes). He loves water, and being taken to an off leash beach. Enjoys running around with other dogs through the water and playing ball with other dogs. He is great with other people, including strangers, and has been around a few kids and was very calm and affectionate. He is great in the car, immediately laying down and being very calm in the car. He is a little timid having a bath, but is still a lovely boy and well behaved during this, he listens to be calm, and loves the after affect of being clean and fresh (a good towel rub down after is the best feeling for him). He is great outside (loves laying around on the back deck with us, relaxing), he is also house trained and is very obedient inside. He knows when you say 'bed', he will go to his bed and lay down and relax. He doesn't try jump on couches, or beds, and is just a wonderful boy to have relax by your side. He is protective of his home, even though he isn't aggressive, and doesn't mind when our friends he hasn't met comes into the house, but if there is someone that is unknown and walks down the side of my house, he will give a couple of barks, which is great to let you know someone is there. He isn't an over the top barker, which is also another great thing about him. He just wants to let you know that someone is there, and also to let that person know he is there and is protecting his home and family. He is currently staying with my dog (boxer cross bull mastiff - 15 months old) and he is very friendly with him, and puts up with my boys excitable friendly nature. Bandit doesn't jump all over dogs with excitment, but loves to have a play with my boy (which he usually lays down and plays on his back). He feeds well, eats slow enough to enjoy his food (rather then scoff it down), and isn't aggressive with his food. (he is not aggressive in anyway, he is just a big placid gorgeous dog really). He enjoys kisses, and hugs, loves his ear, stomach and back to be rubbed. . . He is just the most lovely dog, that really enjoys affection. He is obedient, he knows to sit, shake and drop. He is also great at sitting, and being told to stay. He will stay there until you tell him to come. When you call for him at the dog park, beach, he will also come. Bandit really would love to find a permanant home with a family or someone that can shower him with affection, someone that loves to spend time with their dog and also take him out and about whether it be a walk, dog park, beach, he just loves being out and about socialising with not only other dogs but with other people.
