Meet Duguula, or Dugu to his friends — the biggest boy of the litter and quite possibly the biggest goofball too! 🧡
Dugu is an incredibly friendly, loving and playful puppy who absolutely adores people. He has a wonderfully goofy personality, loves attention and affection, and seems very happy to make friends with just about everyone he meets.
He’s also a seriously handsome little man. Dugu is the largest of his siblings and has the most beautiful rich ginger coat — he’s already a striking boy, and we think he’s going to be absolutely stunning as he grows.
Dugu and his siblings have had quite the journey to get here. Originally from NSW, the nine puppies and their mum were taken in to be euthanised. Thankfully, a wonderful lady stepped in and rescued the entire family before contacting us for help.
What followed was the mammoth logistical effort of getting eight puppies all the way from NSW to WA, and Dugu is now safely in Perth and ready for the best part of his journey — finding his forever family.
Dugu’s mum is a typical dingo, while dad is a camp dog (dingo cross) who displays considerably more domestic-dog behaviour — including happily coming when called, even while out at the beach! Their puppies appear to have inherited different combinations of traits from both parents, and so far Dugu is showing us a wonderfully social, affectionate and confident side.
However, as gorgeous and friendly as Dugu is, prospective adopters need to remember that he is still a dingo cross and not your typical puppy. His behaviour and needs may change as he matures, and his forever family needs to be prepared for everything that may come with owning a dingo cross — not just the adorable puppy currently in front of them.
Dugu will need plenty of enrichment, positive training, socialisation and interaction as he grows. Secure, dingo-appropriate containment may be required, and homes with small pets may not be suitable due to the potential for prey drive as he matures.
For the right family, Dugu is going to be one very special companion. He’s big, beautiful, ridiculously goofy and full of love — and now all this gorgeous ginger boy needs is a family to call his own. 🧡

Meet and greets necessary to assess compatibility as we are not a first in best dressed rescue, will be ensuring the pups have the best chance at finding their perfect match.
If for any reason adoption does not work out pups must be returned to us as stated in contract.
