About Asteroid
Meet Asteroid, a beautiful young Ragdoll with a gentle soul. At just 8 months old, Asteroid is still finding her confidence and can be a little timid and nervous when faced with new people, places, and experiences. She will need a patient and understanding family who can give her the time and space she needs to settle into her new home.
Once Asteroid feels safe, her sweet nature begins to shine. She enjoys gentle pats and affection from people she trusts, and there's nothing quite as rewarding as watching her relax and lean into a kind hand. With love, consistency, and a quiet environment, Asteroid is sure to blossom into a devoted companion.
Asteroid would thrive in a calm home where she can adjust at her own pace and build confidence gradually. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate cat and are willing to let her come out of her shell in her own time, Asteroid could be the perfect addition to your family.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
