Meet Odin, a handsome one year and nine month old German Shepherd cross Kelpie who is ready to find his forever family.

At a sturdy 25kg, this sweet boy came into our care as a surrender after a change in his previous owner's circumstances meant they could no longer give him the time he truly deserves. Odin is a little bit enthusiastic and always on the move, so he is looking for a patient home with the time and space to let him settle and decompress at his own pace.

Because he is such an active, bustling guy, Odin will thrive in a household with children aged 12 and older who can handle his energy and respect his boundaries while he builds his confidence. He is essentially a beautiful blank canvas when it comes to training, meaning his new family will be starting from scratch with his basic skills. However, his absolute love for long walks and engaging play sessions will make positive reinforcement training a fun and highly rewarding bonding experience.

Please note that Odin's adoption will include a large breed waiver, and our veterinary team has noted he has grade 1 dental disease, which our staff will be happy to discuss with potential adopters.
