With her stunning snow-white coat, beautiful blue eyes and pretty pink nose, Snowflake is certainly a lady who turns heads. But while she may attract plenty of admirers, Snowflake herself would rather skip the introductions!
Snowflake is a shy girl who doesn't particularly enjoy meeting new people or finding herself in unfamiliar surroundings. She is very much a creature of habit and feels safest when life is quiet, predictable and routine. Her new family will need to give her plenty of time and space to settle in, learn the household routine and decide that her new humans are worthy of her trust.
Once Snowflake is comfortable, you'll discover a sweet and affectionate girl – on her terms, of course! She enjoys attention when the mood strikes and has a wonderfully playful side. Chasing balls is a favourite pastime, and this clever lady will even play fetch!
Snowflake's perfect home is a peaceful one without the noise and unpredictability of children or canines. She is looking for patient humans who understand that there is no need to rush a relationship and who will allow her to come to them when she is ready.
Being all white with a delicate pink nose, Snowflake must be indoor-only to help protect her from potential sun damage. Thankfully, the indoor life suits this homebody perfectly – give her familiar surroundings, a collection of toys, a good ball to chase and a comfortable place to relax, and she'll be quite content.
Snowflake may not give her heart away at the first meeting, but earn her trust and you'll have a beautiful, playful and affectionate companion who knows exactly how she likes her world – quiet, comfortable and filled with people she knows and loves.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
