Meet Madam 💜

Sweet as a sugar plum, cuddly as they come… and still very much the Madam of the household.

Madam is a gorgeous tabby with a splash of tortoiseshell and a personality that matches her rather grand name. She is affectionate, playful, cuddly and absolutely delightful with her humans. She’s also happy to be picked up for a cuddle, so if you’re looking for a cat who enjoys being close to her people, Madam certainly fits the brief.

When Madam first came into care, she was in the early stages of pregnancy and was not particularly welcoming towards other cats. At the time, we thought she may be happiest as a solo cat.

Interestingly, that changed very quickly after she was desexed.

Within just a few days, Madam was much more relaxed around the other cats in her foster home and is now able to be around them without the same issues. It’s quite possible that some of her earlier behaviour was influenced by hormones and pregnancy rather than simply disliking other cats.

Because of this, we think Madam could potentially live with another friendly cat, provided introductions are done slowly and carefully and she is given plenty of time to adjust.

She would also be perfectly happy as the only feline in the household, where she can enjoy having all the laps, attention and best sleeping spots to herself.

Madam is playful, affectionate and wonderfully entertaining, with plenty of love to give to the lucky person who appreciates a cat with both cuddles and character.
