Meet Ernie

Ernie is a young, playful boy looking for a family to help him discover all the wonderful things life has to offer. Ernie has approached every new experience with a positive attitude and a wagging tail.

Sweet, people-focused, and full of character, Ernie would suit an experienced adopter who can provide guidance and patience while he settles into his new home. He enjoys being around his people and would love to be included in family life.

Ernie is suitable for homes with children, although very young children may not be ideal as he can be a little jumpy when excited. He would be happiest living primarily indoors with access to a secure yard where he can play and burn off energy.

Ernie may be able to live with another dog, but he can be selective about his canine friends and prefers calm interactions over rough play. A meet-and-greet with any resident dog is essential. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

A home with secure 5-foot fencing is recommended.
