About Hush
Meet Hush, a charming young Dachshund with the most beautiful nature. At approximately 4 months old and only 3.2kg, this sweet little guy is a bundle of love and affection. Though he may be deaf and mostly blind, Hush's capacity to warm hearts and connect with those around him is truly extraordinary. His gentle soul allows him to navigate his world in the company of others, proving that love isn’t seen or heard but felt.
Hush is already making friends, including a resident cat! He shares an affinity for little doggy playmates, spreading affection and joy wherever he goes. While he is still learning the ropes of house training, Hush impresses each day, turning his adorable curiosity into accomplishment. His playful spirit and desire for cuddles make him the sweetest little man you'll ever meet, happiest when snuggled up in your arms.
He may need some extra guidance and patience from his new family, but his warm heart is always eager to reward you with unconditional love and trust. Medical notes
Hush is deaf and mostly blind. He was born this way as far as we know.
He had an ear infection which has now been resolved with no further treatment needed.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
