Meet Benjamin Button.

Benjamin Button is a great example of not judging a book by its cover. He may appear a little older and not as fresh as he once was, but beneath his exterior is one special boy seeking a very special home.

You can probably tell from Benjamin's photo, he is a scared boy. Shelter life is proving to be pretty stressful for him, and he is very shut down. Our staff have been working on building trust with him and while he accepts pats and cuddles, he is very unsure. It breaks our heart seeing his beautiful soulful eyes just looking at us to help him. We want to see him getting adopted to a kind and caring home that don't expect a lot from him. This approach will see Benjamin slowly coming out of his shell and gaining confidence. Once he is comfortable and settled, we just know he will transform and create a deep bond with whoever rescues him.
