About Bandit
Hi, I’m Bandit, and if you’re looking for a young dog who thinks being close to his humans is the best thing in the world, we might be a pretty good match. 💙
I’m an 8-month-old Cattle Dog who came into care after a pretty rough start. Before arriving here, I had never left the property I was living on. My world had been very small and I simply hadn’t been given the opportunity to experience much.
But you really wouldn’t know it from meeting me.
I’m a calm, happy and incredibly affectionate boy. I absolutely adore people and genuinely just want to be with my humans. If there’s a cuddle available, I’ll be there — being close to my people is definitely my favourite place to be.
I’m also smart and eager to please. There are still things I need to learn because nobody has taken the time to teach me before, but I’m attentive, responsive and really keen to get things right.
I’m dog friendly and have been very respectful of the other dogs in my foster home. I understand their boundaries and don’t feel the need to constantly be in their space, which is pretty impressive for a young bloke.
I’m already house trained and crate trained, and I’m great in the car too.
Considering I had never left my previous property, I’ve taken all these new experiences completely in my stride. I’m not frightened or overwhelmed — I’m calm, curious and happy to come along for the ride.
At only eight months old, I have so much potential. I need someone who will keep teaching me, include me in their life and give me all the experiences I missed out on during my first few months.
Most of all, I’m looking for my people. I have an enormous amount of affection to give, and once I find you, I suspect I’ll be happiest right there beside you. 💙

This trial period is to ensure your new family member has enough time to settle into their new environment, and you can both be sure it's the right fit. During this time, do not hesitate to get in contact with us if there are any issues, concerns or questions. If for whatever reason, you decide during the trial period that it's not the right fit, get in contact with us and we will take the animal back into our care, and your adoption fee will be refunded to you. Also, if at anytime during the course of your pets life, you are unable to care for them anymore, we will happily welcome them back.
