Venus is one of seven tiny kittens who were sadly dumped in a box on someone’s doorstep. She had such a difficult start to life, and it has taken her a little longer than some of her siblings to discover that the world can be a safe and gentle place.

Venus is a very shy and sensitive little girl. 💗

She's the kind of kitten who needs time. Time to watch, time to observe, time to understand her surroundings and, most importantly, time to decide that she can trust you.

She won't be the kitten who runs straight over to greet you. She may hide when she first arrives in her new home, and that's okay. 🥹

Venus needs a family who understands that confidence can't be rushed.

Her new family will need to give her a quiet environment, plenty of patience and the freedom to adjust at her own pace. She needs people who will sit nearby, speak softly, let her come to them and celebrate every tiny step forward.

Because with a shy kitten like Venus, the little moments mean everything. ✨

The first time she stays in the room instead of hiding.

The first time she comes a little closer.

The first time she plays while you're watching.

The first time she accepts a gentle touch.

We don't know exactly how long it will take Venus to completely settle in, but we do know she deserves someone who is willing to wait for her.

Underneath that timid little exterior is a beautiful kitten with a whole personality waiting to emerge. She just needs to feel safe enough to show it.

Venus doesn't need a busy home or someone expecting instant cuddles.

She needs a quiet, patient and loving forever family who will look at her hiding and say, “That's okay, sweetheart. Take all the time you need.” 🤍
