I’m not about frantic chaos or loud fuss; I’m a thoughtful sole who needs someone who has experience with dogs that can give me time, patience, and a steady hand to guide me as I figure out this brave new life. Around people I’m hopeful but watchful, and around other dogs I can get tense. I whine a little and lift the hair at the base of my tail when things feel uncertain, which is my way of asking for reassurance. I learn best with gentle, consistent guidance and plenty of quiet moments. I thrive in a peaceful home and with children aged 15 and older, who can respect my pace. I’m moderate in energy, enjoying a gentle stroll and then a comfy nap in a sunbeam. I need an experienced owner for management, and a home with secure outdoor access and solid fencing. A calm, quiet household suits me perfectly. I should avoid busy, high-traffic walks and off-leash dog beaches or parks and start with short, slow outings in quiet areas to build trust. I’ll need careful introductions and ongoing guidance when I’m around new canine friends, as I'm an adolescence who hasn't learnt how to appropriately interact with other canine friends. I crave a secure backyard or enclosure where I can explore safely and a routine that lets me settle in at my own pace.
