Walrus

Walrus might start off tucked away somewhere cosy, but it doesn't take long for his curiosity to win.

This lovely boy can be a little unsure when things are new, preferring to watch from somewhere he feels safe first. Give him a moment, though, and Walrus is brave enough to come out, wander around and see what's happening. He's already shown us how quickly he can settle, going from a slightly nervous arrival to earning the very official vet review of "perfect boy."

Walrus is friendly, gentle and easygoing. He's not the kind of cat who needs to be all over you demanding attention every second, but he's comfortable with affection and enjoys having people around. There's something very sweet about his calm nature, and we think he'll make a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a little independence alongside his friendly side.

Walrus is healthy and ready to swap shelter life for a home of his own. Come and meet this sweet boy at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold.
