Hi, I’m Izzy! I’m a gorgeous senior American Staffy x with a gentle nature, a soft spot for the simple things in life, and a very strong appreciation for the comforts of home.

These days, I’m all about enjoying the good life, being close to my people, having a cosy spot to relax, pottering around the yard and, of course, finding the best sunny spot for a well-earned lounge. My dream home would be the best of both worlds: inside access so I can be part of family life, plus a secure yard where I can wander, explore and keep an eye on what’s happening.

Don’t let my senior status fool you, I still have plenty of pep in my step! I’d love to head out for a leisurely walk with my family, especially if there’s plenty of time to stop, sniff and investigate all the important neighbourhood news.

I’d suit a family who works normal hours, as I’m quite happy to enjoy some peaceful downtime while you’re away. But when you come home? That’s when the fun begins! I’ll be ready to spend some quality time together, whether that means a stroll, relaxing nearby or simply enjoying having my people around.

Because I’m an older girl, I’d love my little humans to be six years and over and gentle, calm and respectful of my space. I’m looking for children who understand that sometimes a senior lady needs a little quiet time — and that cuddles are best when I come looking for them. Give me a little time to get to know you and I’m sure we’ll become the very best of friends.

I’d also prefer to be the one and only canine love of your life. Honestly, who could blame me? I think having all the attention to myself sounds pretty wonderful! When it comes to smaller animal friends, I’d like to take things slowly with thoughtful introductions, giving everyone the chance to get to know each other at their pace.
