Boo Boo

Boo Boo took her time settling in, and it's been worth the wait. This white cat spent her first while in care rather timid and unsure, but over the past couple of weeks she's come completely out of her shell. These days she's outgoing, friendly, and genuinely seeks people out for affection. Give her a scratch and she'll relax so thoroughly that she starts to drool, a sure sign she's totally at ease with you.

Boo Boo would do well in a home with children, though if she's introduced to a new environment and reverts to her old shy habits, as she has sometimes done in shelter, she'll do best with kids who understand how to read a nervous cat and give her space. With thoughtful, gradual introductions, there's no reason she won't settle in just as happily as she has here. If you're after a cat who rewards a little patience with a whole lot of affection, Boo Boo could be exactly who you're looking for.
