Meet Sophia, an exceptionally sweet 6 month old calico girl who has been through more than any kitten should.
Sophia was found alone on the street, screaming for help. She was dirty, emaciated, terrified and completely alone. 💔
When I approached her, she came running straight to me, as though she knew I was there to help her. ❤️
I checked the surrounding homes, but no one knew her and no one had seen her before. There was no family searching for her just a tiny, frightened girl left to fend for herself. It breaks my heart to think about what she endured before she finally found safety. 😢
Despite everything, Sophia remains incredibly loving and trusting. She loves cuddles and making biscuits, kneading away happily as though she’s finally realised she is safe. 🥹❤️

Sophia is truly one of a kind almost as though a little ginger kitty, a tabby and a rainbow of beautiful colours all came together to create her. 🥰 One front leg looks like it belongs to a ginger kitty, the other carries beautiful tabby markings, and her coat is sprinkled with so many gorgeous colours. 🧡
She isn't just beautiful on the outside Sophia has the most beautiful little soul. ❤️
Now she is ready for the forever home she has always deserved a safe, loving indoor home where she will never again know hunger, fear or loneliness.❤️

Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email adoptpar@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
