About Diva
Diva is an absolute sweetheart who is already showing just how special she is!
It’s clear that someone has spent some quality time with Diva, as she is incredibly well-versed in her basic commands. She knows sit, stay, lay down, shake, beg and spin, and she responds beautifully to her handlers.
Diva is lovely to work with in the yards and seems comfortable walking on a slip lead. She is also very tolerant and cooperative when being touched or medically assessed, which is a wonderful quality and makes handling her a real pleasure.
She appears to be toilet trained in her kennel and is respectful of her belongings, rather than destroying or chewing them. Diva is currently learning how to enjoy toys and food enrichment items, which will help keep her entertained and mentally stimulated while she settles into kennel life.
Like many dogs, Diva does experience a little separation anxiety when her people leave the kennels, but the lovely thing is that she settles quickly and doesn't carry on. With patience, routine and plenty of positive experiences, we're hopeful she'll continue to build confidence.
When Diva gets excited, she may jump up a little, but she's very responsive to redirection and is already learning that keeping her paws on the ground gets her the attention she wants.
Why you'll love Diva ❤️
Diva is affectionate, clever, well-mannered and eager to please. She has clearly had some wonderful foundations put in place and is ready for someone to continue building on them.
If you're looking for a sweet girl who already knows her manners, enjoys learning and has plenty of love to give, Diva may be the perfect addition to your family.
