Hi everyone, my name is Sugar (my foster mum also calls me Sugar Plum Fairy!).

Nature
I’m a confident and curious girl who loves to be as close as possible to the people and cats around me. I’m an affectionate girl who will still suckle on your fingertips when I’m getting snuggly on your lap. I love fluffy blankets and sleeping next to you at night.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I low-key love everyone! I haven’t met a dog yet, but I am suspicious of them if they walk past our house.

I love to follow my foster humans everywhere in the house. I’m not ashamed to say it, but I’ll even sit on your lap in the toilet if you let me!

I love other cats and have no issues playing with the little foster kittens we sometimes have. I also love watching the fish tank and am tolerant of older children.

Likes / Dislikes
❤ Food — I love both wet and dry food and, oh my gosh, those things called treats!!
❤ Other cats!
❤ I love toys — all of them! Laser pointers, tassel toys, catnip, things with bells… I want to play with them all.
❤ Soft, comfy doonas, blankets and lying in the sun.

❌ The vacuum makes me nervous.

My PURR-fect home would be with a family that I can show just how much I want to play and love them. As long as there is a warm bed, sunshine and fluffy blankets, I’m set! I’d love a cat companion and, as a bonus, a cat run or enclosed backyard where I can explore “outside” — I always want to go there, so make sure you have hugs, toys and treats ready when you take me home.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Sugar, please come and meet her at Better Pets & Gardens Midland this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.

Medical Notes: Sugar was exposed to Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. She did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
