About Puddle
Introducing Puddle, a playful and precious little Poodle X who is as sweet as they come. This boy is looking for loving and attentive owners as he had quite a tough time before coming into care. While in care, Puddle has grown in confidence and if his adopters can continue with his training, they will be rewarded with a wonderful family pet. Like most Poodles, he is very intelligent and a fast learner.
Puddle is a small dog and weighs about 4.5 kilograms but he may gain a kilogram or two as he was quite underweight when he was rescued. During his few weeks in care, he has thrived and now eats a variety of healthy food. At 10 months of age, Master P won’t get noticeably taller - he already has quite long legs.. Puddle sleeps soundly all night, loves to be close to his people and is toilet trained.
Puddle’s fur is as soft and lovely to stroke and his bushy tail is constantly wagging. He will require regular grooming; the photos show Puddle after his fur was cut quite short as it was very long and matted when he was rescued. His foster mum has a before photo to share with potential adopters.
This boy is currently fostered with other dogs, male and female and would particularly suit a home with another dog who will mentor him and engage in play which he loves. While in care, Puddle has also developed a love for walks which he does gently on a loose lead. Because he loves squeaky toys and playing fetch, he is particularly suited to a home with young children. Although he loves exploring the garden, Puddle is predominantly an inside dog and not one to be left alone in the yard for long periods as he misses human and canine companionship. Once he learns to trust his people, he will grow in confidence and become more settled.
🐾 A Few Important Things to Know
• Interstate adoption is available at the adopter's expense. Please contact us for a transport quote. Puppies under 12 weeks of age are unable to fly and will remain in foster care until they have completed their veterinary work and are old enough to travel.
• Breed and adult size: As a rescue organisation, we cannot always guarantee a dog's breed mix or their expected adult size.
• Medical conditions: Any known medical conditions or ongoing care requirements will always be clearly outlined in the dog's adoption profile.
• Veterinary care: All puppies and dogs are adopted with proof of their completed veterinary work.
• Making an enquiry: When submitting an enquiry, please include a little information about yourself, your location, and your contact details. This allows us to pass your enquiry on to the foster carer, who will contact you if they believe the dog may be a suitable match.
• If you are renting: Please include a copy of your current lease agreement or written approval from your landlord confirming that pets are permitted at the property. This will assist us in processing your application.
