Grizou is a sweet, affectionate and playful boy who absolutely loves his humans. Whether you're going for a walk, playing fetch, going camping or simply relaxing at home, he wants to be part of it. He has a big personality, a goofy side and lots of love to give.

Despite his energy outside, Grizou is calm and well-behaved at home. He is fully house-trained, can stay by himself, has no destructive habits and loves nothing more than a good sleep on the couch. He'll follow you everywhere, but doesn't beg for food and understands when it's time to settle on his bed.

Grizou loves to run and play fetch with his favourite ball. He would suit an active family who can give him plenty of walks, play and stimulation. He loves being outside in general, whether it be to bounce around or to suntan. A backyard would be recommended, but what he really needs is a family who will keep him active and involved.

He's a smart and quick learner, responding well to food and positive reinforcement. He knows sit, stop, come back, sit pretty and drop it, and is learning shake.

His biggest work in progress is his lead manners. Grizou is a strong puller and can become very focused when he sees something exciting, particularly dogs or cats. He can cry and stop when he sees other dogs and needs continued training and patient handling around these triggers. He generally does well with other dogs, but his interactions can vary depending on the individual dog, so careful introductions are important.

With people, Grizou is an absolute sweetheart. He enjoys meeting new people, isn't protective or aggressive towards strangers, and has no resource-guarding issues. He's also a great car passenger and loves watching the world go by.

Grizou can get very excited and sometimes jumps up when he's happy, so a home without young children would be best. His new family should be prepared for an enthusiastic, strong and occasionally stubborn boy — but one who is incredibly loving and eager to be part of his family's life.

And be prepared to be stopped on every walk by people telling you how handsome he is. Grizou is quite the charmer!
