Hope

Hope is a sweet and gentle 6-year-old small Labradoodle who is looking for a very special home where she can take life at her own pace.

Hope is a quiet girl who can be a little unsure of the world around her. She hasn't had the opportunity to experience and become comfortable with many of the everyday things that most dogs take for granted, so she will need a patient, understanding family who can give her the time, space and reassurance she needs to come out of her shell in her own time.

Hope does beautifully with the right canine company, and having a calm, confident dog companion can really help her feel more secure and build her confidence. For this reason, a gentle, well-mannered doggy friend would be wonderful for her.

Hope would be happiest in a calm and quiet adult-only home without children, where there are no expectations for her to be an instant social butterfly. Her new family will need to be patient and positive, celebrating the little steps along the way and allowing Hope to discover that the world can be a safe and happy place.

We haven't had the opportunity to test her with cats while she has been in our care, although we feel she may be able to live happily with a cat following careful introductions.

Hope may need a little more time and understanding than some dogs, but for the person who is willing to give her that gift, the rewards will be truly special. With patience, kindness and a calm home, Hope has every chance to blossom into the lovely companion dog she is waiting to become.
