Dexter is a gorgeous 7-month-old American Staffy mix who is absolutely smitten with his people. This affectionate little guy loves to stick close to those he trusts, and once he knows you're his person, you'll have a loyal shadow following you everywhere!

Being a young pup, Dexter can be a little unsure when faced with new situations. He gains confidence from having his people nearby, so he would love a calm and supportive household where he can settle in, feel safe and build his confidence at his own pace. Once he's feeling comfortable, he'll be ready to put his paws to work learning all those important puppy manners!

Dexter would likely enjoy having another friendly dog for company and could benefit from a confident canine companion to show him the ropes. While he hasn't been tested with cats in our care, we think he may be just fine living with one following calm and appropriate introductions.

But let's be honest... Dexter's greatest talents may be his affection, snuggles and ridiculously cute face!
