LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL BOY! 😍🐾

New home, new friends! Roscoe has been settling into foster care, making friends and learning so much already. Now this sweet boy needs a committed forever family of his own. Could it be yours? 🏡🥰

We think he’s a Jack Russell x Cattle Dog, but whatever the mix, he’s a lovely little character with plenty of puppy spirit! ❤️

🐕 Roscoe has been good with dogs of all sizes and thoroughly enjoys a good play and wrestle with his foster family’s German Shepherd! He can get overexcited and be a little “in your face”, so he’s still learning social cues and when his friends need a break.

🐈 He has been getting along with the foster cats, but will chase if they run. His carer describes this as playful, though he’ll need supervision and continued guidance to give cats their space. He hasn’t been tested with livestock.

👧 He has done well with his foster family’s children and hasn’t been jumping on them. Because he’s energetic, their time together is kept short and supervised.

🎓 Roscoe is eager to learn, loves fresh meat treats and is VERY toy motivated! He’s calm and relaxed without other pets around and listens well one-on-one. Around other animals, excitement can take over and his listening slips! His foster carer is working on helping him stay focused with distractions, and his new family will need to continue that training.

🐾 He walks well on lead, although he sometimes puts the brakes on when something feels unfamiliar. A little patience helps him build confidence.

🏡 Toilet training is going really well, with only one accident so far! He’s also making great progress with crate training and learning that “bed” means his crate. He does get a little FOMO and can be sooky when everyone else is moving around! 🥹

🧸 He still enjoys some puppy chewing, so plenty of suitable toys are a must—although he thinks cardboard is pretty wonderful too! 😂📦

🛁 Roscoe has even enjoyed a trip to the groomer’s! He was a little unsure about the water but absolutely brilliant with the dryer. 🌟

His foster carer says he’s such a sweet boy and has already learnt so much in the short time he’s been there. With companionship, patience, play and continued training, he has so much to offer. ❤️
