Nash is ready to find his forever family! π₯°
Nash is a gorgeous 2Β½-year-old Cavoodle who came into care after being surrendered to the pound just two weeks after being adopted from Gumtree. π
When Nash arrived, he was suffering from severe chronic ear disease, with extremely narrowed and infected ear canals. His eardrums had ruptured and he needed intensive veterinary treatment.
Over the last six weeks, Nash had four ear flushes, antibiotics and medicine to reduced the inflammation And the best news?
π₯³ πππ¦ πππ₯π¦ ππ₯π π‘π’πͺ πππππ₯! π₯³
This little guy has worked hard, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who supported his treatment and helped give Nash his second chance. β€οΈ
Now it's time for the next chapter...
πΆ πͺππ’ ππ¦ π‘ππ¦π?
Nash is a sweet-natured, affectionate and easy-going boy who loves being with his people.
Once the day's adventures are over, he's very happy to chill beside you while you watch TV. ποΈβ€οΈ
He's now toilet and house trained, sleeps through the night and is a genuinely good boy in the home.
Nash needs enrichment!
Nash is a young, energetic and intelligent dog who hasn't had much guidance or training in his previous homes.
The wonderful thing is that he's very smart and eager to learn.
With the little training he's received in foster care, he's picked things up quickly. He's also very food motivated, which makes training a whole lot easier. π
Nash would LOVE a family who enjoys:
πΆββοΈ Long walks
π³ Exploring
π Play dates
π Lots of sniffing and investigating
π§ Puzzle games and enrichment
π Ongoing training
β€οΈ And including their dog in family adventures
We've even given Nash some puzzle toys to keep his clever brain occupied...
He's already worked them out! π
So his new family will need to keep that clever little brain challenged.

Nash isn't suited to someone looking for a small dog who will simply sit around the house all day as a companion.
He needs someone who will exercise him, train him, stimulate his mind and meet his needs, someone who will give him plenty of opportunities to be a dog.
Having said that, Nash is perfectly happy to curl up beside you and enjoy some quiet time while you watch tv or work from home. β€οΈ
π ππ‘π’π§πππ₯ ππ’π πͺπ’π¨ππ ππ πππππ
Would be nice for Nash to have a compatible canine companion to play and explore with.
Another dog can provide companionship, play and another outlet for some of that youthful Cavoodle energy.
π± πͺπππ§ πππ’π¨π§ πππ§π¦?
Nash has met a cat and was very gentle.
When he stayed with us, he gently greeted Ash πββ¬ , he was curious about her and followed her under the bed... where Ash promptly explained that personal boundaries are important! π
Nash was great, he simply walked away and learnt to give the cat a wider birth next time π
So if you have a cat we would suggest careful introductions and ongoing supervision while Nash learns to respect his feline housemate.
π§ ππππππ₯ππ‘
Nash's foster carer feels he would be fine living with children. However, because we haven't had extensive experience with Nash around young children, we'd prefer a home with older, dog-savvy children who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs.
As always, children and dogs should be supervised together.
π‘ πͺπππ§ π‘ππ¦π π‘ππππ¦
We're looking for a family who will:
β€οΈ Make Nash part of the family
π₯Ύ Take him on adventures
πΆββοΈ Give him plenty of exercise
π§ Provide mental stimulation and enrichment
π Continue his positive training
π Ideally have another compatible playful dog
π Be proactive with his ear health
π‘ Keep him as an inside family member
β€οΈ And most importantly, commit to him for life
His new family will need to be particularly mindful of his ear health. Nash has been through a serious ear infection, and his ears must be monitored carefully so any signs of irritation or infection are addressed promptly rather than allowed to progress.
Nash is currently enjoying Lyka, Prime100 and a small amount of dry food in his treat ball. He also loves a good chewβa cow hoof, a goat horn or bully stick will happily keep him occupied while you're working from home. π
Nash is desexed β , vaccinated β and microchipped β and great in the car π
And when it's bedtime?
He'll happily sleep on his foster's bed or on his own bed in the bedroom or lounge room, and he sleeps right through the night.
π π§ππ ππ’π§π§π’π πππ‘π...
Nash is a beautiful young dog who has had a rocky start and hasn't had the guidance or stability he deserves.
But he's smart.
He's loving.
He's playful.
He's eager to learn.
And he's ready for someone who will show him just how much fun life can be. π₯°
Nash doesn't need a perfect family.
He needs a committed family who will give him the exercise, training, enrichment, adventures and love that a young Cavoodle needs.
Give him that...
and you'll have one very happy little adventure buddy who will happily spend the evening curled up beside you. β€οΈπΎ

Medical notes
When Nash arrived in care, he was suffering from severe chronic stenosis to the ear canal, with extremely narrowed and infected ear canals. His eardrums had ruptured and he needed intensive veterinary treatment. This was left untreated for a very long time by his previous owners.
Over the last six weeks, Nash had four ear flushes, antibiotics and ear medication to reduce and clear the inflmation, and I'm so happy to say that his ears are now clear.
Potential adopters need to be proactive in preventing any further infections for Nash, so regular inspections of the ears should be carried out, as with any dogs with longer ears
