About Baxter
Meet Baxter, the charming and spirited Dachshund with a heart full of love to give. This delightful short-haired gentleman, born on October 12, 2015, is seeking a new family who can provide him with the attention and care he so eagerly desires. While Baxter may initially seem a bit hesitant to new experiences, he quickly adjusts and shows his true, affectionate nature. Baxter is 5.6kg
Baxter enjoys the company of other small dogs, which makes him an excellent companion for a household with a similar-sized friend. He has not been tested with cats. At heart, Baxter loves nothing more than staying active and engaged.
While Baxter might be a bit of a "doorbell" when visitors arrive. This small quirk is nothing compared to the joy he will bring to your home. This playful and loving little dog is ready to fill your home with warmth, charm, and companionship, making each day a little brighter.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
