Smudge

Smudge is a stunning shiny girl looking for a new home after her long term bonded mate passed away, and she is one of those rare rescue pigs whose whole history we actually know.

She started life in a big indoor female herd where she was loved enormously. She came into rescue three years ago when her owner hit financial hardship, and we found her a home where she spent the last few years being thoroughly adored with her sister by her side. When her sister passed, her owners did not want her living out her days alone, but were not in a position to take on another guinea pig. So they brought her back to us to find her a friend. That is a hard call to make and a kind one.

Now Smudge is looking for her final chapter. She is friendly, sweet, has had a health check, and would love to spend her remaining years indoors with good company and endless hay.
