🐶 Meet Asha – Your Loyal Best Friend! 💙🐾

Asha is a beautiful Kelpie x Staffy mix with a heart as big as her smile. She's a loving, people-focused girl who simply wants to be part of the family and share life alongside her humans.

Asha absolutely adores people, children, and other dogs. As an inside dog, she thrives on companionship and is happiest wherever her family is. She would love a home where someone is around for much of the day or where she has a friendly canine companion to keep her company. Being left alone isn't her favourite thing—she much prefers being included in everyday life.

This clever girl is highly motivated by food, praise, and affection, making her an absolute pleasure to train. She's eager to learn and loves positive reinforcement, happily working for tasty treats and plenty of encouragement. While tennis balls don't hold much appeal, winning your praise certainly does!

Since coming into foster care, Asha has grown in confidence and continues to blossom as she learns that she's safe and loved. She enjoys cuddles, seeks out affection, and would happily spend her days by your side. She's still polishing her manners and is learning that keeping all four paws on the ground is the best way to ask for attention.

Asha walks beautifully on lead and is learning to stay focused even when the world around her is exciting. Cats definitely catch her attention on walks, but she's learning to ignore them when asked. She also has good recall in quieter environments and loves jumping in the car for an adventure.

She's toilet trained, enjoys the occasional shower without fuss, and isn't picky when it comes to food. One of Asha's sweetest quirks is that she prefers having her person accompany her outside rather than going alone—a little reminder of just how much she values being close to the people she loves.

Asha would thrive with a family committed to positive training, mental enrichment, and lots of companionship. In return, she'll reward you with endless loyalty, affection, and a friendship that's hard to match.

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
