Abraxos

Meet Abraxos, a 7 month old Malinois X Kelpie, who has a very enthusiastic outlook on life.

PERFECT HOME Brax will need a family who is experienced with high drive dogs and who can give her a home where she has ongoing training, due to having some fear reactivity.

You must be experienced with high energy dogs and have plenty of activities and space for her.

Brax will need slow and careful introductions when meeting new dogs, allowing the time and space to become comfortable at her own pace, in saying that she does come around to new friends quickly. A patient home that understands the importance of advocating for her space as Brax has fear reactivity when seeing new dogs out and about. Though she can function while in work with dogs around.

Due to being young and having this reactivity Brax would benefit from further training, especially leash training as she can get a bit over excited. She is a strong girl with LOTS of energy!
She would love to be included with her new family as much as possible.

ABOUT Brax loves to run and play, she is all round a super happy girl, loves to play tug with people and dogs friends, loves to zoom with other dogs.

LOVES to work/learn, loves her people and her trusted friends a lot!

Currently living with other dogs and loves playing with them supervised on a long line when outside as we are still perfecting the recall in distracting environments.

Currently living with children (over 8) and have regular family visit with other children and she has no issues with the kids.

Currently living with poultry and ponies, she is very interested in chasing them if she was allowed the freedom to do so, with further work she could be fine with them, I've seen some improvement with the ponies already.

TRAINING Brax can sit, learning drop, will wait for her bowl to be placed and learning the release. She is learning some fun tricks to keep her brain active.
Most of her learning has been centred around confidence around new dogs.

Brax is very well crate trained and will happily sleep in there through the night and when needed through the day. And will settle with a chew or toy tethered when the family is sitting around of an evening.

If you are able to offer Brax continued training and support and think that you could offer Brax a great life, then maybe you could be the right family for her.
